QUALITY POLICY

Chairman of KAN declares his commitment to implement ISO/IEC 17011-2004 and PAC/IAF and APLAC/ILAC requirements consistently and continually, and to endevoring to obtain and maintain mutual recognition with other accreditation bodies to promote recognition of certificates issued by KAN Accredited - Conformities Assessment Bodies both domestic and out side the country.

KAN, as National Accreditation Body in Indonesia grants accreditation to certification bodies located in both Indonesia and outside the country.

KAN may grant accreditation to laboratories and inspection bodies located outside the country at which the accreditation body in such country has not been the signatory of APLAC and ILAC MRA. KAN adopts ILAC G-21 in order to avoid duplication of accreditation.

In order to ensure the traceability of calibration or testing results, KAN determines its traceability to national and international standards for units of measurement.

KAN does not offer or carry out consultancies or other services which may compromise the objectivity of its accreditation processes and decisions.

KAN ensures that this policy is understood, applied and maintained by all personnel at all levels of KAN organization in order to improve KAN performance continually.
